Day 20 here..... emotional roller coaster started yesterday.....was really sad/depressed last night.....and right now--I am ok>not happy/not sad....just content in my own skin..and that is alright with me.

Day 19...had a dream I drank a beer and felt awful and drunk right away, when I woke up I was sooo relieved....

Oooh, I HATE those dreams. I had a dream a few nights ago where I was drinking from a pint of Smirnoff, and was getting caught, I think.

Woke up sooooo relieved that I hadn't really drank.

Angelina, congrats on 3 weeks !!!

Also, congrats to Adore, Eidectic, and ItsmyTime!!

Today is day 34 for me, I feel better than I have felt in many years, even
took a 2 mile stroll through the woods this morning, it was great.

Hang in there Shorty, I always tried to drink my blues away, but everything just ended up bluer. What not try it a different way this time by not drinking and see what that's like. Good Luck!

Day 20! Went to a barbecue last weekend. In the past I always looked forward to drinking at barbecues more than anything else. I focused on the food and the conversations and enjoyed the fact that I wasn't taking in a bunch of useless alcohol calories. It was quite enjoyable. The heavy drinkers smelled pretty bad with that awful smell of alcohol on their breath. I guess I never noticed that before.
