HI SHORTY, I'VE BEEN ON/OFF THE SOBRIETY WAGON FOR A YEAR NOW BUT I'VE GOT SO FED UP WITH THE ENDLESS CYCLE OF DESPAIR/VOMITING/BLACKOUTS/SHAME, ETC.
NOW I HAVE STARTED ONCE AGAIN AND SOBER 2 DAYS. I'M GOING TO AA AND WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT THEM SO GET YOURSELF THERE!
HANG ON IN THERE...WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER AND WE CAN AND WILL BEAT THIS AND GET OUR TRUE 'SERENITY' LIVES BACK.
JUST DON'T DRINK ONE DAY AT A TIME AND GO TO MEETINGS..

Arabella, All we can do is live one day at a time. I found the first week hard. But had the support of my long term girlfriend. And got thru it! I know you can too! March is the month to begin your new life!

Well Day 26.
I got asked by my best mate to go out with him last night and get maggot! I politely turned him down. Im just avioding anything to do with grog so as to not get tempted.
And each time i think about just having one or two. I think about how good my last 26 days have and that i really really dont want to start from day 1 again!

Good for you! And by the way, I LOVE Stewie!!! hehehe.. Anyway, that is how I look at my DOC. I just am so freaking tired of the beatings I take when I start smoking crack again. Just tired of starting my clean date over. Tired of disappointing my Mom, my boyfriend, and my best friends. Just am tired. I am on day 53 and loving it. Can't say every minute has been peachy keen, but it's been better than when I was always smoking/thinking about/copping crack. I am still human and have lied a couple times, judged a couple people, and not done everything right, but it's just BETTER. It's real and, it's only 50 bucks, but it's money in the bank, for the first time since I started doing drugs. WOW. Money in the bank?!?!?! It's why the 60 day tag (NA) is green. I think. hahahaha...
