It was a big step for alot of us to join here and start posting. So far so good Carlyjo! were here...

carlyjo80 02-26-2009 08:25 AM

i am posting!!!!!!!!! help before i get another drink>>>>>>>>>>>

carlyjo80 02-26-2009 08:29 AM

*****....please...

californiapoppy 02-26-2009 08:29 AM

Why don't you tell us what's wrong before you have a drink. Then ask yourself if a drink will get rid of your problem or just make it worse....

californiapoppy 02-26-2009 08:31 AM

what's your ***** id?

TryingSoHard 02-26-2009 08:33 AM

Carlyjo, why don't you just keep posting here in this thread for a few minutes? I see that you have more than 5 posts now so you can try the chat room as well. If you'll tell us what's wrong we'll do what we can to help talk you through it. Picking up a drink won't help, though, that's for sure.

Bard 02-26-2009 08:34 AM

I'm sure there's plenty of people right here who can help right now. Keep posting!

Not unless it's a real life emergency, in that case get some medical attention ASAP!

carlyjo80 02-26-2009 08:40 AM

Not a medical emergency, I guess I am just an alcoholic who can't deal with life on life terms, but thats not how it starts, but always how it ends, and I have to be at work with a new client in 7 hrs

Bard 02-26-2009 08:43 AM

So are you having withdraws and feel like you couldn't be in character when you meet your client? In that case is there anyway you could delay it for a while?

WLDKATZ 02-26-2009 08:46 AM

well all I can say is take it one step at a time......baby steps work for me.......life doesnt come easy for anyone it takes hard work, you have made the first step and that is asking for help.......good luck and keep posting

carlyjo80 02-26-2009 08:53 AM

There is no way I can delay it I have been living like this for 3 years since I relapsed but each day is harder than the one before...I am 28.....life should not be like this.....

carlyjo80 02-26-2009 08:55 AM

fading out now...........////'[p;

Anna 02-26-2009 08:56 AM

So, you can stop drinking today and begin changing your life.

Have you talked to your dr about stopping drinking, because it can be dangerous to detox from alcohol.

We do understand how hard it is.

Bard 02-26-2009 09:05 AM

I'm 29 and I know how hard it is and so does everybody else here. Not picking up that drink is the first step.
