i work face to face with new folks coming into A.A. for the first time (and sometimes "returning" after a relapse) i know it can seem overwhelming so i just keep my message of hope simple i know what works for me.. it works best for me when i "stay in today" that means keeping my focus on doing the next right thing.. i sometimes give the new guys and gals a 24 hour coin.. i always have one with me.. why? they sometimes ask.. i smile and say because today is all we really have..
