Trying this again.
I've been quiet for the most part since Friday night, because I screwed up again and drank that night. I hate this. Well, today is day three for me, so I am seriously trying to just make it through another day without a drink. Hopefully I can begin to get on the right track.

Glad you're trying again. I relapsed so many times while I was trying to stop drinking I almost lost all hope. But there IS hope and you're trying again, and that's the right thing to do. You can do this! Never give up!:ghug3

never ever quit quitting. I've come back hundreds of times. back into AA, and then back out. today i keep coming back. today i am staying.
You can do this too. just for today. keep up the good work

Just when I thought I knew what I was doing, I discovered that I don't even know what it is that I don't know. That's the way I feel about living sober. However, I do know that living as a drunk really s*cks, so I feel good about being honest about drinking, in order to slowly get on the right path, like many of you here have done successfully, at least for today.
Thanks you all for your kind support, and for not tossing in the towel because of my craziness this past Friday. Today is a new day, and I've been up for six hours, during whcih I haven't drank anything but coffee. Guess it's time for breakfast. Will continue to check in as much as possible today. Thanks again, SR.

Okay, so you drank! You're here now, striving for sobriety "one more day".... That's the biggest & best thing any of us can do and YOU'RE doing it!
I'm right there with ya at 5 days! WE can do this together -- all of us! It's a WE thing and not a ME thing we're doin' here to stay sober, K????
