Sister Died
Oh, Chancey.
How sorry I am to hear this about your sis.
Prayers for you and her dear children, of course.
Chancey..please stay on when it gets rough and talk about it, okay?
All my love..

My heart goes out to you, Marie's children, and all those who knew someone who so clearly gave such wonderful light and love. I wish you well through these times when you share the sadness, and joy, as you remember her together.
Vic,
I have been thinking about you.
I am so sorry you lost Marie. I know you were very close to her and that she helped you when you were struggling.
Prayers for Marie, for her children and for you Vic.

I, too, have faced death, several times with numerous family members. It doesn't get easier. In fact, with me, it brings back memories of each person I have lost in the past. It can be pretty overwhelming. It's okay to cry...heck we NEED to cry at times like this!
I was fortunate enough, the last time I faced a death in my family, to be a member of SR. It made a huge difference, knowing I had so many people who cared about me, and I didn't have to walk the path of grief, all by myself.
We're here for you, sweetie, and we're not going anywhere. This is not something you "get over" in a few weeks, or even a few months. I hope you continue to read and post, and allow us to walk with you. We've got some pretty strong shoulders, if you need any to lean on, okay? Lord knows, I've leaned on them, myself, more than a few times.
Hugs and prayers!

(((Vic))) My prayers go out for Marie's children, and for you too as you grieve the loss of your sister.
These words from the poet Rumi often comfort me when I lose someone dear, seeing death as a sunset here and a sunrise in the next world, and I hope they will comfort you...
...how can there be an end
when the sun sets or
the moon goes down
it looks like the end
it seems like a sunset
but in reality it is a dawn
