My reasons not to drink today...
 

Well, today at 1:00 pm (est) marks the 5 year anniversary of my father's passing away. But, it also is his birthday. So, I'm making myself a list of why not to drink today.
My father is with me in my mind, heart and is with me in spirit and is watching over me and proud of me for being sober for 13 days (today) and is proud of me for getting sober before it was too late like him. And it is a good birthday present for him for me to be sober and trying to make something of my self and life. *raises glass of tea* Here's to my father and father's everywhere alive and passed away. And another reason not to drink and get sh*tfaced...it would look silly going to my AA meeting tonight drunk. But, most of all, today I will stay sober for me. Thanks for letting me share.

This is a great tribute to your father also.
On behalf of all the class of January I can say with a great amount of certainty that they whole class will not drink today as a tribute to you and your father. :)
