Hey, you are not alone. There has been alot of times my pets were the only reason I stayed sober. I LOVE MY PETS. They really keep me going sometimes when it seems nothing else does, you know?

What would our world be like without our beautiful pets? I have a dog, a cat, 7 chickens and 3 horses and when I get home from work everyday they are all there with their unrequited love and demanding love in return. They are never critical or judgemental and are always positive. If I am feeling sad or lonely, they immediately fill that gap. We as humans are so lucky to have these wonderful creatures who can teach us so much.

Hi,
I relocated and had to leave my 2 shih-tzus behind for the time being. My daughter is taking care of them.. I miss them like crazy. Dogs give you that unconditional love they don't get mad at you if you drank too much the night before. As long as you rub their bellys. I can't wait til my other computer gets here so I can send pictures. I feel so alone without a dog. I need them.

Oh I love my buddies! Some of the best friends you can have! All my life I've had all sorts of different critters. My dogs no matter how shity I can be feeling always manage to make me smile when I see them acting like clowns. Even my cat who I swear tries to see how much **** he can get away with before I skin his little butt and toss him on the BBQ grill can make my day better! Here's my gang:
Big Jake going after his giant bone on Christmas.
Odin. He doesn't think, he KNOWS he's the baddest thing on 4 paws!
And Jack the Knife. Jack for short. But I call him little s**thead most of the time.

I have a dog a cat and a gecko love them all so much. Animals are so intuitive and sensitive to our energy, so when i drink a lot i can see in my dogs eyes how disappointed
she is. I guess it has taken my focus away from her. I know she knows I love her, but I could defiantly pay more attention to her more often.

My dog was my best buddy - I was so much healthier when I had him in my life for his first 7 years. He's now happily retired with my parents on an island with a beach and acreage to play on, and they adore him and I get to visit him often, but wow, I'm sure not as healthy living without him.
I have problems with anxiety, especially social anxiety, and because he was a big dog who needed lots of outdoor play time, I was forced to go out and be in the world, whether I was comfortable or not, and my love for him and wanting him to be a happy, healthy dog, would override my anxieties, so I'd do so much stuff way outside my comfort zone and be much better off for it.
Plus, just all the unconditional love he gives me. I can understand why men were jealous of him - I think he treated me better than any of them ever did! lol
I can't wait until I can have animals in my life again - I've always been drawn to them - I get along with them better than people, I think.
I wish there were more rental apartments that would allow pets. I'm grateful to have a roof over my head because I've experienced homelessness, but I sure do wish the laws were changed to recognize how beneficial it is for society if people can have pets.
