come on..people are here sharing their goals and hopes. This really wasn't needed...people here understand all about one day at a time.
It's important to live for the moment. But it's also important to have a plan for the future. Anyway my 5 goals for the year:
1. Remain sober and get more involved with helping others trying to quit.
2. Return back to work and actually have a bank account where I SAVE money to.
3. Shake off beer weight and be at or close to competing in powerlifting.
4. Maybe get that drum set I've been wanting to get for the last couple years and learn to play.
5. Become the type of person my dogs think I am

1) stay away from alcohol the entire rest of the year and longer
2) continue to find more reasons to stay away from alcohol (the list is getting long!)
3) start a regular exercise routine in place of when i drank
4) help and listen to others with any type of addiction
5) continue to save money to buy my first home

This is a cool thread.
1. Attain control over areas of my life that are out of control.
2. Refrain from hurting others.
3. Learn to be merciful and patient with people who are "not quite all there" and try to chat to me.
4. Be patient with others in general.
5. Be more extroverted and interested in others and more giving of my time.
That's a tough list for me.
