Stayed as long as I dare, have packed some clothes and will leave shortly. Has got much worse and there are fires burning in the mountain oppisite me its very hot and the wind is blowing the fire this way.

The fire zone is apparently being treated as a crime scene, arson is suspected. Unbelievable

I am ok, spent the night in the city, back at home this morning, house is ok and smoke is less will see how it goes dureing the day.

When the fire danger passes, then the clean up and mourning will start, whole communities and towns have gone, completely burnt.

Oh Kev!

I am so very very happy that you and your home are safe. I can't imagine the devistation that you are seeing. I know how it was here after Ike but fire seems much harsher than water. Still praying for you Kev.
