Because i know that media presentations all over the world are sensored to varying degrees, im posting this link, this is our medias coverage of whats happening to our country & its people at the moment.
For me, the occurences of the last few weeks & especially now in the face of natural disaster in our home, our country, the living entity that supports us to be alive an here!, has me realising how much of a puny little part my role an any individuals role is in the bigger scheme of living.
So many humans, all over the world, focusing on one thing 90% of the time, "self", & we ask how we became so disbanded from one another, so seperate.
Imagine the power of that many humans around the world uniting for a purpose outside of themselves...
All natural disasters hold regrowth & new life, though going through this process for all involved has to be the most harrowing of times indeed.
My heart feels heavy, I hope you will copy an past this whole thing into an email & email it to as may people as you can asking them to do the same.
May a Higher Power of your belief that is Good & loving
watch over & protect the australian people living this,
Men, Women , Children & animals alike.

If you have the capacity to do so, Give back,
Pray.
These people who have survived have nothing in every sense of what nothing really is, what else can i possibly say...
God have Mercy.

Nikki, I confess I don't pay enough attention to what's going on in the rest of our world, & there's no excuse for that. I just watched the AdelaideNow videos & read the coverage. I had heard about the fires, but didn't know how devastating they were or that they'd been set intentionally. Thanks for opening my eyes.

all media coverage is slanted IMO
and yes...I did say all.
I say this from personal experience after being interviewed
by a well known newspaper and a equally well known
national TV network concerning a project not related
to alcoholism/recovery.
Regardless of what the media says...
I don't necessarily think it's true..
Prayers continue for those involved with the fires.
