I took it when I was your age. I became addicted to it because I lost weight. In the mean time, I totally screwed up my metabolism and that's hard to recover from. It's a bad thing. You don't look like you need to lose weight to me. But then again, people told me that and I didn't listen. I'm glad you're listening.

Isn't ephedra, similar to meth? I also think it's addictive? not sure but usually when there is this much controversy on something it's better just to leave it alone, especially if you already know you have tendencies to become addicted to something.

Congratulations on your two months by the way!!!!

Why on earth would you even consider taking something that even has a chance of becoming habit forming? When I read your post, I actually yelled, "Oh, NOOOO!!!!" so loud that my cat flew off my desk out of a deep sleep.

This is flirting with disaster! Us addicts/alcoholics can switch our DOC faster than we realize. I've seen it happen too many times. My own sister's DOC was cocaine and when her habit became way too expensive, she started drinking. This cost her more than the cocaine . . . it cost her her life.

I'm on meds that cause weight gain and with my disabilities, exercise is difficult but ya know what? I'd rather be a happy, overweight recovering addict than a dead, slim downed corpse.
