Was at the store this morning and walked past the wine aisle. I found what I used to drink and almost put a bottle in my cart... then thought about it and walked away. I remember how bad I felt the last time I relapsed and don't want to feel that badly again.

Great job Least!!! Glad you walked away. Keep up the good work and remember how good you'll feel by leaving it alone. I know you can make it. You've done it before and I believe this time you'll do it and succeed. I have faith in ya. Keep up the great work.

Way to go least!!! It's always a good day for victory!! I remember times walking down the beer isle, and it might as well have been the pickled pigs feet isle for all I cared. It's a good feeling. Thank's for the reminder. 20 minutes ago I told my son I was going out for cigs, as I sat in the car I thought the poor kid doesn't know if I'm coming back with cigs and soda or cigs and beer, the family's night depends on it!! Doesn't that stink? ( I got the soda.) I scare the hell out of people everytime I leave the house. It's good to leave the poison on the shelf. Keep up the good work everyone!!!

Least, when I was at the grocery store tonight, I noticed a woman buying a bottle of red wine to go with pizza and other food items she was taking home for dinner. I looked at her to see if I could see "me." I thought "yes...that wine would be nice tonight," and then corrected myself--"no, not so good for me." Then I wondered if she would drink the entire bottle by herself or drink just a glass or two. And then I thought, what does it matter what she does.

Glad we both made it through the store without a wine purchase.

Today will be 13 days for me.

Had a great ending to my day with the wonderful AA meeting I went to tonight. A lot of wonderful people there tonight. I just feel so happy and alive and glad I got to end my day like this. And to top it off ending my day sober! So, I'm happy with that if nothing else. I'd like to wish the Class of February a good night and hope you've all had a good/great day. Good night all and pleasant dreams.

Haha Mall Cop. Any good? It was actually filmed at the mall right down the street from me. They filmed it over the summer and since that movie is set during Christmas time, the entire mall was decked out with holiday decorations and a giant "Come Meet Santa" set. probably the biggest one I'd ever seen. My son was so excited because he thought he was going to get to meet Santa. Boy was he disappointed when I explained to him that Christmas was still half a year away haha.

Yeah Hardwired...20 plus miles...didn't have much of a choice...didn't have a ride to get back home. But, that's okay. It was a beautiful day and I got some exercise. And I'm not sure what fogies are...but, that geritol has a ton of vitamins and stuff in it that I haven't been getting much of over the years, so I figured it would be good to give my body stuff it needs. It works for me anyway. lol

Another beautiful day today, great day to see the Class of February. Hope all is well for everyone and you all are enjoying the day. And lets all enjoy it sober so we can remember it tomorrow!

Nicki, I'm glad to hear you made it through the day yesterday sober! Keep up the great work and congratulations on day nine!

Least, congratulations again on two weeks! That's a great accomplishment!

I always thought geritol was for old folks too , that and serutan and Laurence Welk! (I bet most of you don't know who he was) Now that I'm an old folk I take kirkwood multiple vitamines, geritol is for the ancient, and the very young Wes. Sure why not?

YO, ya all -------------

10 days here! My two massages for later called and re-scheduled for next week! Usually I'd be feelin' desperate (always wanting to make the dough $$$).... but instead, went down got a paper, made sure my ad was still running.... Went to the Vid Store and got 3 movies...... It's gonna be a "chill day"!!! Yeah! Ahhhhhhhh have plenty of popcorn too!

Day 24 here and better than ever!!! Got to go to my first Harlem Globetrotters game tonight and it was awesome!!! I'm just still so excited from it all. I hope everyone else has had a good day, too!
