day 8 and haven't felt this good physically since i fell off the wagon last summer. my god it felt good to wake up this morning and not have my usual monday toxicity.
i help coach baseball and the weather is beautiful today and we're having our first practice tonight. i am psyched.
when i was drinking i would get antsy whenever i had committments in the evening because i knew that meant i would have to wait until they were done to get my drink on.
then i'd run home and just chug some vodka to get to the point i was usually at by that time of night.....catch up. how freakin' sick is that?
anyhoo......proud to be a februarian....is that a word?

Hey guys today is #10 for me. Wow day 10. I feel great and happy. I'm not even worried about drinking. You can still have shots in recovery, Have a shot of espresso in your coffee, WOW what a jump start.

Congrats on day #11 Hardwired. I'm here and ready for Class bro...you teaching today? what's the lesson?
So far my lesson for today is blast music and drown myself in the moment and forget about life and problems at least for the moment.

Sobriety is living life within a set of essential limitations and accepting those limitations as a positive, rather than negative, and adapting your life to those limitations. It is experiencing a healing, to be without fear, developing wholeness and becoming well in all areas of life. It is having a life free from fear and filled with hope for the future.
