sfgirl, another left coaster here with similar tastes in TV. I too am watching wife swap and will then be watching Intervention. Back in the day I used to watch Intervention and Celebrity rehab with a drink in hand!

This is one of the few reasons I'm looking forward to moving back with my parents after 16 years. They have cable. I haven't had cable in about 4 years because my broke a$$ couldn't swing it. Yay for Intervention!

Another good one? The lady who drank mouthwash when she couldnt get booze!! Can't remember her name but she was pretty easy to remember.

I also thought the girl who inhaled computer duster was pretty bad too!

Yeah I actually watched it both times. She was unrecognizable after treatment. Heck if she was single I'd 13th step her!

I never saw the mouthwash lady. Wow. The huffer I saw but can't relate to it like I do with straight alcoholics. This is a great show on many levels.

I love this show! I used to watch it all the time when it was on Sundays. But now that its Mondays its harder with school work, and stuff like that.

I used to watch this show WHILE I WAS DRINKING. Especially ones that they were really bad or on meth or what ever, I used to use it as "The Bar" you know, I could say "well at least I'm not THAT bad.
Sick I know, but it was just one more way I could justify that I wasn't a real alcoholic!
