Hi all,
Day 55 here, and it's been rough! Cravings are killing me! Samson, I can't imagine how hard it would be having people taunt me like that, they sound really annoying.

I ditched them tonight. An open bar isn't something I need to be around very long. San Antonio is a beautiful city. The river walk is great. I hate to miss out because I'm scared to leave the hotel...but here I sit.

Maybe you could tell them you are on medication that will not allow you to drink.

Normal night at the casino-Didnt win but didnt lose much.
Wait it wasnt normal at all.
Now that I think about, I didnt drink like I did every time I ever went to a casino.
Wow, Its getting to the point I dont even think about drinking anymore.
84 days sober.

I hope you didn't stay holed up in hotel room, downtown San Antonio has a lot to offer within short walking distance.

I agree with JSM, Samson, go out and do some looking around the city....take yourself to a restaurant, go check out the town!! Walk the river! Take some pics and show us!

Pretty much. I had a class this morning and don't have anything else going on until this afternoon. I'm holed up again today. I think God has a funny way of keeping me in line. Started thinking my allergies were acting up yesterday only to wake up with an all out cold this morning. Doubt anybody will be asking me to go anywhere today.

Day 17 and still sober.

Had a work event at a local bar with some well known bands at a small location just for my company. I dropped in for 10 minutes... talked with a few people..... the shooters started getting passed around & ................. I left.

I made it through day 27. It's not so hard when you work until 12:30 am. But still, day 27! It feels good to say that.

Stay strong and sober today my SR family...I am not counting days anymore, just weeks. I will hit 5 weeks on Sunday......woo hoo. A miracle.
