Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic

By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to take a drink of
Alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely
grateful.

Ever said this phrase before?

I sure have. Many times when i
was in denial. More than likely
if i see faults in you then I have
those same faults in myself.

It's like "Im SOOOOOO much
better than that, that i could
never do that, or look like that."

Right? Then why cant i not get
sick when i have a few to many
drinks? Why cant i just stop at
a few? Where's the control I
think i have? Why did i end up
hurting someone by the words
I said? Na, i never said that.
I neer drive when ive had too
much to drink.

Im surely like like those people
in AA. They are sick and cant
hold their liquor like i can. Those
people are in the gutter drunks
where they have lost everything.
Hmmmmm, not me.

Why are you not like people u
know or see?

What makes u so different from
them?

The longer I'm in recovery, the more I recognize the similarities rather than the differences.

But I have to admit that my hair is brown, and yours is "shocking red" Sharon!

Ive always been a brunnett...dark brown/black....cause it stays with
color in it.....i think if i let my hair alone i could be as white as Moses.
Hint - Moses has been my last name for 26 yrs which will soon change
next month.....No more Moses jokes....haha....However it was nice
being called Moses while it lasted.....lol

I now have chunks of deep dark red highlights in my hair and
still want it to be a striking red color as Paramore. Her hair is totally AWESOME..!

Its kinda like Brittney Spears hair in one of her videos..... lol

I disagree. I think we are all different and unique. We may share some commonalities, but there will never be another you or me. We are like snowflakes. No two are alike.
