Gratitude
Had I posted (well, knew how to post) a few weeks ago or so, I would have said I am lost. Today I can happily state that I am only rather mildly misplaced. I am grateful to SR and the friends I have met here. I am grateful to have finally glimpsed a concept of a personal HP. I am grateful for health insurance. I am grateful for those with the compassion to listen to my petty rather surburban existential musings.
I am grateful I am sober today and have the potential to continue to recover and be a positive source in and for the planet even if in only small ways. I am grateful i can again feel compassion for others that I can learn too how to receive it fully and with the gratitude love deserves. For all those who have been a positive force in my return to life, thank you. I only hope and can and will give back in appropriate measure. Today there is hope of a return to living. I am both humbled and grateful to you and my HP.
