1. Taste buds are perking up....wanting sweets again.
2. Appreciating how precious the little moments are with my children. Really taking it all in.
3. Noticing all the drunks when out at night and glad I'm not acting the same way.....praise God!
4. No puffy eyes in the morning.

I have noticed since quitting drinking that apologizing is MUCH easier. Like if I mess up and offend someone or hurt someone, I quickly and genuinely apologize whereas in the past, it would take a while and I just hated doing it and maybe I didn't really mean it.
Now, I do.
And apologizing for past transgressions is easier as well.
Food tastes better, yes.
Sleep is better, yes.
Life is better, YES!!

Great thread...lets see. There is:
*I'm more open and outgoing. (Drinking I'd stay locked up in my room or hide to try and hide my drinking)
*I'm not as easily agitated.
*I notice the birds singing.
*I notice how beautiful the day is. (when you drink from 5am-11pm you just don't care anymore)
*I'm more optimistic.
*I'm seeing the good in things rather than the negative. (Or at least making a lot better of an effort anyways)
*I'm actually eating in general. (I would drink at the aforementioned times for 5 or 6 days without eating nothing, then eat a sandwich and start all over again.)
So even in 4 days I've noticed a whole lot of good things.
