The beer marketing assn. of the world has reported a nine percent drop in the sale of beer this january.
Inside sources are blaming this unprecedented drop on the SR forum.
A representive from the marketing dept., who prefers to remain nameless, has eluded to the possibility that they are going to send a coupon for a free six pack to all 50,000 members of this forum.

A spokesperson for the wine group confirmed that they have also had a drop in sales and indicated that if the beer campaign is successful they may follow suit. She was quoted as saying we can't lose these customers. What is wrong with that forum.

Hehe. Me, I got an e-mail from Russia with a coupon for $5 off one of those big, furry hats with my next bottle of vodka.

"Nyet, spasibo. Nyet p'yu v nashi dni!"

I wish some of my old favorite microbreweries would use their talents to come up with a delicious and affordable root beer. I'd be all in favor of handing them loads of cash then!

(If a certain company in Northern California is looking on S.R. for lost customers, *cough* root beer *cough*)

I suppose the breweries and distillers will also want a bailout!

The talk of declining beer and wine sales reminds me of a thread I started in 2009 and is still amusing to me today.

Good morning/afternoon/evening class. Lots of good posts here since yesterday.
I like the ones like the one from Faceit talking about change the best.

Ginger beer is good too flutter. It would be good if someone marketed a good non sweet soft drink. I quite enjoy red grape juice.
