Ran another 10k. I'm going to have to think about increasing the speed or gradient if I keep runing as comfortably as this. I think a big part of my running having become easier is probably mental, although I'm sure there are physical aspects. My mind is a buzz with positive thoughts and the time flies by.

Also did my regualr routine of weights but kind of rushed through it as my youngest child had a kindergarten event at 10 am.

I wrote before that my weight seems to have increased by 3kg. Starting work yesterday I put on my suit for the first time in 2 weeks and had to move down a notch on my belt. So I've lost weight and lost fat around my stomach. I'm ok with that.

Tomorrow, I'll play tennis if it doesn't rain.

Just put me in the mood for some more exercise a little later tonight.

Today is my tennis day but it was raining. I went to the gym and did my normal routine but mentally it was a slog, I'd rather have been on court. I just couldn't wait to get off the treadmill. I was in the gym for a long time but my intensity was pretty low.

Tomorrow, Sunday, is my rest day, or at least I think it is. I was always too hungover on a Sunday and crippled with remorse/anxiety/fear/mini DTs that I could harldy move. I'm looking forward to doing absolutely nothing but with a clear mind.

"I'm looking forward to doing absolutely nothing but with a clear mind." I like that.

6 mile afternoon run on the new hill route, I like it.

It is amazing to me how much different it is running now that I have dropped 10% of my body weight (roughly 18 pounds). I am lighter, I feel lighter, I don't have to work as hard to move my poundage around.

Old dog, new tricks.

5+ mile run today in cold nasty weather.

Started raining and the temp dropped while I was out there... like to 55F degrees.

Whatever, lol, it is still summer.... isn't it?

Over 100 miles for the month.

Almost talked myself into being a slug today, but went to the gym! As usual, 1/2 hour elliptical, 1/2 hour treadmill, all up hill. I am really noticing progress on my lower body where I need it the most. I use free weights for the upper!

10k run and my usual routine at the gym this morning. My chin ups are back to normal but I'm still struggling with push ups.

While running I constantly think about how good I feel sober and how many day I have under my belt. The next thing I know 10 minutes have passed without my noticing. Before I was always looking at the clock every 20 or 30 seconds. My mind is so much more positive just now.

10k run and upper body workout. Feeling good but my weight is refusing to budge after increasing since I quit alcohol. I hope it's just my body adjusting.

15.5 mile bike ride in 1 hr 8 min. Temp 105-101. 5lb water weight loss. 45 min upper body circuit training. Biking so much upper body will atrophy if I don't. Love those endorphins. Approx 1500 cal. Carb load of whole grain pasta last night for 30 mile training ride today.

Really, REALLY great to see people exercising....

Heavy weight workout in the gym today, losing bodyfat and gaining strength.

Love it.
