4 months today!
Officially I have 4 months today !
I thought about what it was like when I first started on this road to recovery. Intervention, rehab, urges, confusion, fear and most of all shame. While I am still not always comfortable in my sobriety I have lost a lot of my fear and confusion. And in a big way, SR has help me lose a lot of the shame I felt. The shame was suffocating and overewhelming.
So, at four months, I've come a long way, and I have a lifetime to go. SR is an important part of my journey... Thanx everyone.

Four months is fabulous!!! Congratulations and keep it going and going! I feel your pain with the "shame." I never, ever want to add "more" to that shame.....do you???? It disgusts me to think about it....so I'm staying sober like you. I'm praying I can make it four months. Great job!!!!
