Hi everyone
I feel very proud of myself....I've made 7 days...a whole week!
Thank you all for your love and support. I know I wouldn't be here without you.
Last night (the boozy dinner) went well for me. The guests drank many bottles of wine and I drank a bottle of soda water.
I found it quite confronting to see drunk people through freshly sober eyes. It's not nice knowing that I used to be like that until a week ago.

Not meaning to rain on your parade, but please be careful putting yourself in situations where alcohol is present. I haven't been on SR for quiet some time so I don't know the situation surrounding this particular dinner you are talking about, but I do know from past experience that there will be days where you won't be as strong as you were at this particular dinner.
With that said, CONGRATULATIONS on the first week of your wonderful new life that holds more happiness than you are even able to imagine.
