Hi ya
When I feel like this this is the place I know I should be. I would love to say being doing well but that would be a total lie which Im getting good at lying. I was thinking last night when it was raining ( I love the rain) that what changed from when I was a child to having to drink to cope walk talk deal with life everyday. Maybe Il be one of those sad statistics that you hear that dont get cured!

Hey - I don't know you or your history. Are you still drinking? I'm glad you're here at SR. It's a good place to be. It looks like you've been here a while. (441 posts) It sounds like you're pretty down right now. I'm sorry. I know there are times that it can get really hard. Be gentle with yourself, if you can.

Hi trucker i love them too ( thunderstorms) and hi mle-sober this is the best place for mesober only two days battling for about 11 years and at the moment the demon is winng

Guess you dont feel great at the moment....keep it in the day or even the hour if you can....
You are sober and you have the desire to remain that way....its tuff i know.
But you can do this.........just KEEP sharing

I too felt hopeless at one point in time. I never completely gave up on recovery, even though I stumbled/fell down numerous times along the way. Today I have 11 months--the longest time I've ever had in my life. We do recover. Keep moving forward. Your past experience is valuable. Together--we can make it.

I think thats the key keep moving forward isnt it as long as you want to get better and learn thats the key. Now I have to put that into pratice.
