I've come back..
First posted in August and managed to stay sober until around mid -october but sort of lost it a bit - no mad binges, no crazy nights, just started again 
Sooo, did that stupid min thing and decided that as it was xmas would carry on till new year.
Anyway am back again - day one sober, also day one cigarette free!! Doing well, and feeling good.
Hope everyone who remembers me is still ok.

I'm back today too
Hi Coolmummy,
This is my first day back too. I joined in Nov and had a good month of real sobriety and then about 3 weeks of some drinking and boy it just was not good and now here I am back with this being day one. I can remember the great feeling of having a month with no alcohol and wow I love that and am looking forward to it, but also know that one day will feel good too. Each day will feel better and better, each hour really.
How did you know you wanted to come back? WELCOME BACK. It is good to know that someone else started again to day too!

Hi all thank you - Hi Kindbird: I just missed the place! Was too embarressed to admit I'd weakened before so just quietly vanished but kept lurking 
I was beginning to slowly go from that one drink to those two bottles a night again, and have to rein it in big time.
The smoking has to go too, so here I am DAY ONE of a new healthy me!!

I was just talking about you the other day on the November thread, asking if anyone knew where you had gone.
I'm only a few days in front (day5) I carried on drinking but stayed on here this time round.
It's always so good when people return.
