Thanks CG. The dog will be taken care of by the Animal Control Officer and he'll charge them if he has to do it. They wouldn't ask me and I couldn't do it besides. I've never met the dog and he's very protective of the property. The cat would have food and water. I don't doubt that, but to leave the animals without human contact pisses me off. I'm worn out on this and I'm moving on in more ways then one. Couldn't have made it through today without EVERYONE'S help today. It really was a bummer of a day to say the very least, but its almost over. By the way, I met this family because our kids wait at the same bus stop. They won't anymore because I'm either driving and picking up my son from school or moving our bus stop. Sounds stupid and petty, but I don't want any more confrontations.

At least you cared enough to bring to someones attention.
Hopefully when they get home..they will relize how stupid and cruel that was.
Hopefully the dog will be ok for now.
