Yeeehaaa, Made it to two weeks......
Hiya guys, I am so thrilled, it is two weeks sober for me today, something I have never achieved apart from once of the two times I detoxed in the facility.
Thankyou all so very much for contributing to this site, and to my posts personally, you have all made the world of difference to my recovery & detox, I can't put into words how much your information, advice, support, experiences and up lifting words have made for me !!!
I have achieved so much in the last two weeks, and I've done so many things I would have never done if I was still drinking, I feel very happy and fulfilled, the best thing is I see my family smile so much more, and my own smile is such a happy one, right from deep, from a place I haven't been in touch with for so long. I want to hold on to that place within me and never let go..... I am living.
Have a great day everyone, you are all amazing

Thank you steamvessel, I will definitely stop in and have a read, wow my first opportunity to venture from beginners lol.
I have read your thread too, and really feel for you, what an awful situation to be in ((hugs)) My husband always tells me "Adversity is a great catalyst for change for the better"
I really hope that things get better for you soo, you deserve it

Awwww shucks lol, thankyou Horselover, Least & Phaleron, you guys are wonderfull.
It is great to be alive again, and happy & excited about what every day holds, so far I have been into town 3 times (we are in a wee country town, so we go to the next big town a fair drive away) and had a ball with Miss 19 and Hubby (I never used to go anywhere), I have finally found the milking goat crosses I have been looking for for 2 years now (and had the money to pay for them since I'm not spending it on drink) so we now have 2 wee 6 month old girls.
A friends wee banty has sat for us and hatched 7 out of the 8 purebred Plymouth barred rock eggs we bought to start our flock with, it's fantastic.
There is a good chance we have found a better place to rent where the fencing is better for the animals and room to get two pigs to raise for the freezer as well, the vegie garden is thriving with my constant attention, there are 2 doz fresh jars of homemade strawberry jam sitting on the bench, and fresh veg going into the freezer.
I have played with and spent more time with the two younger girls as well, and their smiles say it all.
Living is great!!!!!!!
Right, off to the kitchen to pack a picnic as we are all going down to Miss 10's school breakup concert and picnic, it should be a hoot
