Hi all! I wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent me a PM. I can't seem to reply to any of them so I wanted to say thank you. I haven't had a drink since thanksgiving, so I am doing okay. Its the weekend coming up and I really will want to drink. I am trying so hard not to but I'm struggling. I've promised myself I would never again drink on a nite I have to work the next day, but I have done that before. I just don't know. We will see how things go, I will keep trying!

You can do this! You don't have to know about tomorrow, today!! One minute at a time, One day at a time. Give yourself a break and breathe! You deserve it! "If we keep doing what we've been doing, we'll keep getting what we've been getting".... Just a thought. For me, I'm ready for a new life. Don't know how to do it yet but it sure beats the heck at what I have been doing -- drinking myself to oblivion and it doesn't look to pretty anymore.

Great post!A new life is so worth it. It feels good to not have to live in complete slavery.

That's the key. Just take it day by day. Don't worry about tomorrow.... just keep your mind focused on staying sober today. The tomorrows will take care of themselves.
