All About Me

It's a new name but then again it's a new me. It's been a while since I've been here but I lost my job, broke it off completely with the ex and started a new life. I know some have worried but I just want you to know that I'm doing good. I've been sober since March 21st and couldn't be happier about it. As some of you know, I lost my mother to diebitis last year and it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. I fell off the ol' wagon quite a few times afterwards and didn;t think I'd be where I am today EVER!

Well, on March 15th I also lost my Grandmother, who my mother lived with for the last 15 years. I'm convinced she died of a broken heart. Well I did'nt find out about it untill well after the funeral because I was on a binge, suprise suprise. When I did find out about it I checked into a detox program and that was that. I've been looking for a job lately and I also registered for videography classes which start in the spring.

So that's what's up and I hope to talk to some of my old friends.

Glad to see you again Rob! I always enjoyed your posts and they helped me alot. I'm so sorry you lost your grandmother right on the heals of your mother. Try to think how happy they would be, knowing they were (indirectly) responsible for you getting into a de-tox program and getting well. I believe they do know. You're needed here, hope you'll stay this time.
