Psuge stays sober on first Friday in years

So earlier I was struggling with wanting to go smashed like normal. My two good friends, who are husband and wife and who normally join me for a few beverages but they go home like normal people, basically left no option for me tonight.

They had me go to the grocery store with them, we shopped for groceries then came to their house and cooked a big fat steak and mashed potatoes and asparagus.

After dinner we walked down to starbucks, enjoyed a coffee and walked back home. Thes guys are awesome. I am Normally tanked by this time getting my second wind to make it until the bar closes. They truly helped me out tonight. it feels good to have some good people behind me.

These are also the people that I have been working out with at 5 AM. I feel blessed to have them around!

I'm very happy for you!

Try to remember how great your sober night was. Remember how great you feel this morning. A whole Saturday before you without hangover h@ll!

Keep on keeping on!

Fridays have always been my toughest day; I have been known to set the timer to go off every ten minutes coz it's all of life I can face at a time.

It's getting easier! Keep going!

I'm happy for you! What a revelation when we see that we can actually have a good time without it. Who knew? I was so sure that would never happen for me. It does seem strange at first, but then you begin to enjoy things in a whole new way.
