Getting started

Hello everyone,
New to the site. Sober since June 08. (with 2 exceptions) Still struggling. Working on getting drivers permit back, liver back to normal.

Thank you to those who have replied to my little diddy. Not so sure how this works but I'm sure I will figure things out as I go along. I look forward to getting to know you all. This site is really cool and it gives me one more thing to keep me busy and focused.
Everyone...I am 44 and have been drinking almost every day since I was 16.
About 2 years ago stress, anxiety and depression got the better of me. Or in other words, my drinking went through the roof. No longer 3 cups of tea in the morning but 3 beers and so on...I finally realized that I could no longer control it or hide it. But not before my drinking had pretty much ruined everything. I am now trying desperately to pick up some of the pieces, while asking for forgiveness and perhaps a second chance.

Welcome Kdp, this is a great forum with alot of great people. I am pretty new here..new to sobriety, but this place keeps me going along with AA..Keep up the great work...
