i am detoxing off heroin for the second time and it seems worse then the first time. im doing it cold turkey and im in sooo much pain..what to do??

I'm sorry Jessy I don't know anything about heroin.
Hopefully someone else with more idea than me will be along soon.

Detox is always tricky - have you seen a doctor?
I recommend it - I think that's always a good idea.

Have you posted in our Substance Abuse forum?
I'm just thinking you may get more direct help there? :dunno:

Hi Jess, I don't know much about H either, but Dee's idea to post in Substance Abuse is a good one. Members there will have more experience in this area.

Welcome to our site - many of understand what you are going through and there IS hope.

Welcome to the forum. I know of a few people who have detoxed from heroin and they had to be given a drug to counter the heroin. I believe herion is a dangerous thing to detox from..am sure depends on the previous usage. I would say contact a doctor, friend, family. My thoughts are you need some help coming off this stuff. Alcohol and drug detox can be serious....Please get some help.

Please do talk to your doctor or go to the ER. I don't know anything about coming off heroin but if you're having this much trouble, please do get medical advice!

I have and had a lot of people who use it, and die from it,
like my cousin Jaime, in English is (James)and when ever they want it to kick it
solo with out any medical supervision, it wasn't always 90% successful

But I agree with Dee, and Rowan, Go see a Doc,depending like pam08 said

well i am staying at my sisters for the detox. i have alot of family behind me and they all care but their not gonna stick around much longer.i already went to treatment before but it didnt work for me. the program was not a 12 step so i really wanna try this approach. its worked for many i see. the program i was at was a natrual detox so i been through it but like i said it seems worse this time and i have been using for 2 mons only. i appreciate the responds.
