Hi Cubile, welcome and Congrats on your sober time! I'm sure there will be days when it will be difficult. I have never been to rehab myself, but many speak about feeling safe there and readjusting once they come home. It sounds as if you have a wonderfully supportive family! Looking forward to getting to know you better 1:ghug

Hey Deerwalk! Welcome and congrats on 34 days! I'm working on 41 myself, so it's fabulous that there will be a group of us around for awhile! Looking forward to getting to know you!

Just checking in on 35 days sober.

For some reason, I can't get more than 4 hours of sleep. Ugh. But at least I wake up with a clear head.

Hi Hope!

Me too. I was hoping that sobriety would grant me 8 solid hours, but as of yet it hasn't happened. I wake up every 3 hours or so, but at least I don't wake up in a panic, thinking " Oh no, what did I do/say last night?" and then toss and turn (brain and body) for the rest of the night. Now, I get up, have a few bites of ice cream, and go back to bed with a smile on my face!

Hi HS!

It's good to know that it must be normal with what we're going through.

I'm sorry you're going through it because I can relate very much, but it is a relief to know that it's not just because something is wrong with me. LOL
If that makes any sense. I'm kind of tired today from the lack of sleep.

Hopefully sleep will come for the both of us.....

Hi all,

Wow, there have been some changes since I last logged on. Many new 60 day threaders and a new forum! I’m headed back to them thar hills this morning. I’m doing a project management deal for an architect friend. It’s about two hours away and fairly remote.

Some of the people working the job love to party hardy. They put the trailers and motor homes in a circle, light up the bbqs and break out the beer every night. This makes it a little tough at times. I’m walking away from the temptation often.

See you all in a couple of days,

Hey were did everyone go?

I just got back from my little "work vacation". Had to learn a new way of talking there. Never say good morning, say wha's up

62 days! and it is not getting any easier. It just is what it is.

Every day is precious. Three days is great.

I have to remind myself every morning. It's not 30, 60 or 90 days, it's just one day.

Hi NDN!

Hi Eclipse!

All we really have is today.

And that is true for all of us.

Hi everybody. I'm 32 days today. I'm amazed that I was able to do it.
I'm also posting on the 45 day and under thread. For me it's baby steps all the way. One minute, one hour, one day at a time.

Still here, my friends, somewhere around day 46ish. Glad that our little group is plugging along! I agree that it's one day at a time. I think of you all each day and wish us all "wellness"!

Hugs to each of you! :ghug3

Just a quick funny...we were just out to dinner with some friends and a gust of wind blew my husband's wine all over me! God, the fumes! And I thought, for ONCE I had no reason to worry that people could smell wine on me!!
