Welcome Michigan girl and Thatwhichis. Feel free to post in any forum on any thread. There are specific threads for those who got clean and sober in a certain month: July, August, etc. Do jump right in and make yourself at home! Also check out the info in the 'stickies' at the top of the page in the Alcoholism forum. Lots of info on quitting, withdrawals, PAWS, and other subjects.

FYI, I grew up in Summerville. Matter of fact, I could tell you some stories about the bootleggers we bought liqour from, the stores that sold on Sundays, the joint we bought joints from, etc....all while we were attending high school. But, I'd rather forget and forgive.
I've tried every which way to include alcohol in my daily life. It all ended with the same result. I loose control, and alcohol wins control of my life. I'm on day 67 and I like my life much better sober!
