Hi - I'm a Newbie
 

I would like to introduce myself. I live in Tennessee and have been sober since July 23rd of last year. My problem was morphine addiction. I used to be a recreational user but when my husband was incarcerated out of state in 2003, I started using every day. I told myself that I'd stop when my hubby came home but who was I kidding!
To make a long story short, I sought treatment with a methadone clinic. Between treatment and God and an understanding husband, I haven't used since last year.
I don't know what else I need to say, but I'm glad I found this website.

By the way, I used to tell myself things like too. I would stop drinking when...and of course, there was always another reason to keep on.
