Day 27: Soreness
My sleep habits have been erratic of late but one thing that has been consistent of late has been waking up with a very sore back. Whether it is my muscles adjusting, sleeplessness, or my kidneys and liver crying out, or a combination of all three I don't know.
I haven't really ramped up the exercise to a point where that should be the cause. I also think maybe long hours at my desk in my office may be contributing to the cause. Whatever the case, it is just another one of those minor irritants that is magnified by the numbness of lack of alcohol.

No doctors here Michael, which is why we always suggest that you see one and get a professional diagnosis.
I used to have backaches caused by liver problems, when I sobered up I had mild ones from the anxiety & restlessness. Daily exercise like walking and bicycling helped my body to adjust to my lifestyle in recovery. A good diet helped too, I had to cut down on the sugar and caffeine.
