Promising October

I joined the site today because I am in deep denial about my substance abuse issues even though my life revolves around them. Would appreciate any advice or support.

P.S. Is it easier to set a goal like a month of sobriety or concentrate on each day as it comes without setting long term goals?

FuturePundit ....Welcome to our recovery community

Often newly sober/clean people find it works better
for them to consentrate on each day.
Either way is good.
There is no right or wrong way to find recovery

Keep in focus..Yes! you too can win over addiction
.

I find it easier to use days. 7 days seems longer than a week to me. 4 days is already feeling like a century!

Lostbutterfly Day 8

FuturePundit - one day at a time. On bad days, one hour at a time. Really bad days, one minute at a time.
