I dunno...I know I'm an alkie...but I think the difference for me now is I know I can't do just one...that's the worst lie of all.

Anyway - like it's a reward? It's ******* not.

Have a good rest of yr day Trish - I'm done with mine

I think you've made the right choice

Hey, oocan...welcome to SR. Did you go to the doctor about your arm? Is there someone you can call?

(((Oocanxiety)) - welcome to SR! I agree with Bam...you might want to see a doctor.

((Trish)) - sorry I'm late on this thread, but was out of town yesterday. I am SOOOOO proud of you for coming here and talking about this. I haven't found a situation, yet, that someone on SR couldn't get me through...clean.

BTW...phone calls from "old friends" or being in certain places has done the same thing to me. I found myself, one night, trying to convince myself that it would be okay to do it "just once". Luckily, my recovery voice won over and I was able to get to someone on SR pretty quick.

I hope you have a good time with the family. You deserve it after all the hours you've been working...well, you deserve it anyway

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Hi oocanxiety, it might be a good idea to start your own thread cos people will probably miss your post on someone elses.

Meanwhile, can you see a Doctor or let someone you know how you are feeling?

glad you made it through, all this stuff going on while I was sleeping, lol!, and so much love and support for you as you stared down the monster...
my sobriety date is July 2003, but about a month ago, I hate serious cravings for about two weeks...
it was the howl is all, just had to keep my head down and get through it, and all the while looking within for the pain that spawned it...
I am so glad you gave yourself what you needed, and came here to tell, and got though, you are awesome!!!!

I finally passed out for a couple hours after this crazy feeling. Went to the mountains and had a great time.
Yall just dont know. My uncle is too much. I dont think I have laughed that hard in a long time. We all did. WHen we were at dinner we were laughing so hard we all had tears running down our face. I am sure the ohter tables thought we were nuts. But hey..We had fun.
We went to an old tiny village for a homestyle buffet. In a huge old farm house made into a restaurant inn type place. All homemade comfort food. Man it was so good. Looked at all the creepy old houses. They all look haunted there.
Took a walk up the trail and looked down off the mountain. Beautiful.
My aunt lives on the side of a mountain and it is just all country. Didnt get on the 4 wheeler this time. Thats more for when the kids go with us.
Stopped at the farm stands and got mad fresh veggies so cheap. HUGE ones. Green peppers the size of an infants head.
Came home and my other aunt made baked ha and cabbage and potatos. OMG..What a great weekend.
Found 2 huge overstuffed recliners on craigslist for $35 and the lady lives like 15 mins away. I will be going to get those Wed. Grams recliner bit it a few months ago from the kids playing on it. And they look like new. I couldnt believe what she is selling them for.
This is the first weekend in a while that I wasnt angry..sad...tired.
Today is a good day.
Thanks for the support guys. I dont know how long I would have lasted without you guys.
