Why drink? Here's why not to from my experience.
Hello all, I've tried to post inspiring posts before here... but here's something I was just sending to a friend of mine...
My family helps me a heck of a lot, I'm on day 110 without alcohol, I'm so sick of drinking but you gotta realize it YOURSELF eventually, not meaning to be critical but in the long run... after a hangover or you wake up out of it after a big night of drinking you say to yourself ... "Just hurting myself... this ain't even worth it... no one else... just hurting myself the worst in the long run"... with the exception of the abusers who hurt people... imagine how you feel as it is but then...
Imagine how your family feels about your binge drinking/drinking/drug problems... THEN imagine what you're doing to your physical health in the long run, and then the incredibly possible chance of even BRAIN damage later on in life... so... DON'T DO IT ALL! Just trying to help

Great job on 110 days, Paulos! I know it hasn't been easy, but you have overcome a lot. Thanks for the reminder of why I don't drink. I hated when I would awake and my first thoughts were I did it again. I hated myself for drinking and repeating the same insanity. Today, it doesn't have to be that way.
Cool Paulos! Way to go! You sound better--seem to have more confidence in yourself. Keep it up..and yes, the mind does seem clearer the longer we stay away from drinking. You are making progress indeed.
