I don't know about Impurrfect...but, it sure cheered me up...and, I made everyone who has come in my room read it...will email it, too. The innocence of kids...would that we all still had it.

BTW...dancinggirl...how did your Santa Talk go with your son?

Santa talk went well. I took him out of school, we hit up Dairy Queen for ice cream, and I told him the "adult secret". He now gets to be Santa with me and have a shopping date at xmas to shop for his brothers' presents. He didn't seem upset at all once I told him he'd still get "santa" presents.

Nands..

Adorable joke!

No whines for me...enjoying a needed break, visiting baby girl in San Diego,

a condo to myself yesterday and today..needed moments alone.

Hugs and love to all of you!

:ghug:

That's funny! Even after our kids were grown, it had become a family tradition that each of them would get three gifts...one from Mommy and Daddy, one from our dog Jenny, and one from Santa. We opened one gift at Christmas Eve dinner, and the rest around the tree on Christmas Day.

I request honorary membership in WA tonight cause I just don't feel like whining. Had a good day too and college kid is home and tickled sh!tless over my upcoming 100 days!!

So you can have an extra whine "on me". I don't need mine tonight!

awwww, Least, you deserve a whine-free day...just don't make it a habit

I called work to try to get the numbers for workman's comp doctors...the manager on duty couldn't be bothered to call me back. She's the same one who just cut my hours.

It's okay, the manager who was there when we were robbed will get me the info and I will be calling a doctor on Mon.

My cat is STILL whining about the rain...what does he expect ME to do about it?

Ok, today I have a valid whine. I was up and down most of last night. I couldn't sleep cause my scalp was itching so badly. It seems to go in cycles where it'll itch like mad for no good reason. Stress, maybe?

It just aggravates the sh!t out of me, as I lie in bed exhausted but can't sleep. So now I'm really tired and itching like crazy and nothing makes it stop!!!

Now have another legitimate whine: college kid is telling me she can't pay her (reduced) portion of the cell bill. Complaining that she isn't working and can't pay it. My only choice is to end her service on my family plan. I don't want to cut off her phone service, but am sick of shouldering the entire bill by myself! So now must tell her that I'll have to end her service and will get the usual adolescent argument from her. I hate being put in this position, but she's leaving me no choice.

SHe's accusing me of 'ruining' her weekend home with my 'demands' for money. She's a good kid for the most part, but is reverting to "toddler tantrums" and it's p!ssing me off.
