Hi misswhisper,
Be really careful doing this alone, it can be really dangerous. Don't hesitate to go to the ER if you feel like you need to.

Good luck, keep us posted.

Hi Misswhisper,

Have you talked to your dr about detoxing?

I wish you well on getting through the evening.

Wishing you all the strength to get through this-And I was wondering the
same if you did to talk to your Doctor? for you

i have in the past. without being able to go to a detox unit - the best she had was to try to wean myself off over time. unfortunately, i'm an alcoholic so that is pretty much an oxymoron.... :)

Yes please go to the ER if you feel any worse. Be careful. I went thru withdrawals so many times I'm beginning to think I must have liked it. I liked punishing myself, I think, and when I stopped throwing bricks at myself I was doing better.

You can make this. Drink lots of water and juice and B vitamins if you have them are very good. Please have someone to check on you, if they can't be there 24/7. You don't have to do this any more. If I can stay sober, so can you!

Miss Whisper: Ugh...withdrawal hurts. It'll be over soon though. Remember rest is 80% of sleep. Get as much rest as you possibly can.

I'm glad you're here instead of picking up. That helps me stay sober too. You can do this. We're here with you. Keep moving forward.
