Mtn, that is very true. That post describes me as well. So it seems like we're both going through the same thing.

You are right, it is better to be tired than hungover!

Good thing we are sober today! That means we are healing and giving our bodies a chance to mend and recover.

Hope, I went through that tiredness about a week ago. I was just crashing after work, waking up to feed the kids and put the youngest to bed, and just crashing again. It was like the first few months of pregnancy. (you're not are you?)

Just take as much care of yourself and sleep - mine passed, although I did start taking iron tablets for anaemia.

I need to start regularly taking vitamins. I think I have low iron as well and I also need to start taking a B vitamin.

Definitely Hope. I'm also taking Neurozan which is full of omega 3 and other good things for your brain (I'm waiting for them to work still!!!). I think I pop more pills now than I used to at the worst of my habit, lol!

I've been taking vitamins, but I don't think they have really kicked in yet.
Just getting into the routine of making sure I take them everyday. Gee - Maybe I'm starting to try and take care of myself. What a concept!

That's my problem. I keep forgetting to take them everyday. I guess maybe that's why it doesn't work so well for me. I take them a few days then stop and then start again.

I have memory problems so I forget. I need to start making lists.

It feels good to be doing *HEALTHY* things for our bodies doesn't it?

We are on the road to healing.

I am glad that I have all of you so I don't have to go through this alone.

The tiredness eased up for a little bit today. I still got tired early in the day but I had a window of time when I felt a little more energetic. Finally. I have been waiting forever for it.

Insomnia is creeping in though.

day one again

hi,
it is day one AGAIN for me, but I am really thinking I can do it this time.
My problem has been not thinking I am an alcoholic? and craving drinks every day after work. I have been able to control moderate to some extent, not an extremely heavy drinker. But what is the point of drinking everyday too much and too fast in a short period of time? Have had problems with it in the past and things are starting to get worse again. I really want to be a part of this class and I know I can do it with your support ,and I support all of you also!!

Hi Ruby,

Glad that you are giving it another shot. Hang around here for support. Getting support is the major thing.

If alcohol is causing you problems, then it is a problem. Time to make a change for a healthy future.

We're here for you!
