To get this into perspective, consider the following: D100, or one part in 10,000,...,000 (100 zeroes) corresponds to a concentration of one molecule in the entire universe! Due to the explosive nature of exponential funtcions, D400 is, to the human mind, an infinitely smaller concentration than D100, i.e. infinitely less than one molecule in the universe. What is left, except for empty wallets, tooth cavities and a flourishing quack business?

An interesting curiosity adding to the ludicrousness of it all are the active ingredients in occillococcinum: fresh liver and heart from a duck! One liver and one heart is needed annually for the the world's total consumption, reaching sales figures as high as $20 million in 1996. At least homeopathy is an animal-friendly trade!
Rubbish.

You have to believe.

Or at least give it a try.

* Glad to hear about the new Neti arrival. Just make sure you use it on a regular basis... then when a cold hits it won't be as bad (clogged).

Hi Stone, Gyps.

Computer is miraculously fine, Gyps. I smacked my foot pretty good, but I don't think I broke it. But if I did, better that than my computer. (I am such a child of the computer age, aren't I? XD)

Stoney...My point is people poison themselves with cold remedies and 'other' toxins everyday without a thought or care. Why pshaw a little bit of harmless ingredients that may actually work?!

I take it at 1st onset of flu (well, exposure to the family when they start coming down with it) and haven't had a full blown bout in years.

(colds are different)

Not *****ing ?

I'm off to run some errands now anyway . Yoga & meditation class later this afternoon .

I think the neti pot idea looks neat, Gyps. I might get one now - before I get a winter cold.

I have been drinking lots of liquid chlorophyll in my water - it's spearmint flavoured and really good. It's an excellent detoxifier.

Ah see? Another convert. They really do work.

When my step dad was in the hospital back in Feb and my whole family was sick and I was around all those germs visiting him all the time I didn't get sick at all. My brother noticed (since he was sick too) and thought that using the Neti helped rinses away the germs.

It's a small expense really and for me, my colds usually turn into a sinus infection. I've been miraculously free of those since I started using one.

Breathe-Rite strips. I think they extended my second marriage by at least a year or two. Lol.

Hi tellus!

Kids didn't have school today so they begged me to play hookey and let them sleep in. I gave 'em an extra hour and a yummy breakfast.
