| 88 days sober and drinking again
What's so horrible about this post, is the 5 paragraphs I just wrote that have just disappeared into the cosmic soup.....I can't type them again...it's late and they took too long....I picked up 2 days ago...and today should've been day 90 days sober.
I don't feel as bad about this as some folk have...yhowever I am a tad confused and alky feeling right now...and also not the most coherent communicator....sorry!

Hey, Jig. I was on day 24, got separated from SR for 3 days with no other support and started drinking on day 25. Haven't gone more than a day without since...
Good to see ya!

Thank you Carol and Doorknob...I'm a little too drunk to analyze properly the repercussions of my weekend's decisions and adventures.
I just needed to 'fess up
I'm really hoping that tomorrow is the sober day that I know it should be

I have a lot of respect for you both, JigOv and Doorknob.
I know you can both do this. Whatever happened, happened.
Draw a damn line and move on!
Keep posting

Jig,
Don't beat yourself up. I've quit hundreds of times. Each time I failed I learned something. When I learned enough, I made it stick, so far. You've quit long enough to anchor a healthy routine. It will be much easier to jump right back up on that horse. Many people say they've been together ____ years, off and on. Stay the course. Prayers

Thank you...all of you. I'm kinda watching this in 'realtime' and right now this instant...I'm in a bizarrely good mood...I handled situations this weekend that would've been impossible in the 'dark years'.
But I handled them due to all the sober thought processes I've developed these last 3 months...that party would, honestly, have been pure f---ing torture done sober. THE DECISION TO DRINK was so right for the time. It's 2 days later and I'm still drinking...typing's failing me a bit...

Well crap Jig. I won't say much cos you're obviously still drunk but I do want to say you CAN do this.Start again. There is nothing good back there for you and the sooner you stop the less hard withdrawal will be.
Don't give up,
Julesxox

Learn from it, forgive yourself, and start over. Never give up! I was a serial relapser and if I can stay sober, so can anyone. Keep trying!

Still drinking unfortunately...There's a lot of backstory to this but most of you would quite rightly recognise it as b.s
Hopefully get some sober thoughts written down soon.
Cheers, Jig
