Starting over again
Hello All,
I'm 36 years old and having a really difficult time getting stopped and staying that way. I drink daily and in copious amounts; generally I can make it to lunch without drinking...right about then is when the really strong cravings hit me. I don't know if I can make it through to this evening's meeting, I want a drink really damn bad right now. I'm seeing a doctor about possibly trying revia and or campral to help with the urges and just printed out a list of meetings to hit. I don't particularly want to go back to AA, but I've hit the point where my desire to stop trumps my desire to avoid AA. I'd appreciate and prayers and support you guys can send my way!

When we are ready to make a new life for ourselves we do it....maybe now you are
ready this time? Lots of support being sent to you-take a deep breathe and do what you need to do for you-when your ready!
