Starting over again

Hello All,

I'm 36 years old and having a really difficult time getting stopped and staying that way. I drink daily and in copious amounts; generally I can make it to lunch without drinking...right about then is when the really strong cravings hit me. I don't know if I can make it through to this evening's meeting, I want a drink really damn bad right now. I'm seeing a doctor about possibly trying revia and or campral to help with the urges and just printed out a list of meetings to hit. I don't particularly want to go back to AA, but I've hit the point where my desire to stop trumps my desire to avoid AA. I'd appreciate and prayers and support you guys can send my way!

"If you want what we have, and are willing to go to any lengths to get it..." Sounds like you're ready to do whatever it takes. After all, it's only an hour or so a night...and, at least you won't be drinking during that time. You just may hear some things that will help you. Keep an open mind.

Prayers and good wishes going your way.

Sending good vibes and support your way....you'll thank yourself tomorrow. Alcohol is so hard on our bodies.
