Getting so frustrated at feeling dizzy and weak allthe time. Woke up that way this morning and still feel like I'm about to pass out. Time to call my doctor tomorrow and make an appt. Sick of feeling so light headed and ready to fall over. Not hungry at all but will force myself to eat some chicken soup or something light. Can't stand feeling so 'woozy' all the time and feeling either too cold or too hot.

On the subject of "restroom plumbing", has anyone ever been to France? I thought the bidet a very curious contraption in a country where most of the women don't believe in shaving legs or underarms, and many don't seem to wear deodorant...they'd rather douse themselves with cologne.

After they lived in Paris for a year, my well-to-do cousin's wife had him install a bidet in their house in Cherry Hill, N.J. How pretentious can you get!?!

A bidet has allowed men and women since possibly the Crusades (11th to the 13th centuries) to wash feet, hair, beards, genitals and perineum. The bather usually rides it like a pony; pony is what the word meant in the French of 400 or so years ago. Bidets today often fit onto toilets.

I've never been to France but I think bidets sound like really good ideas! I would totally get one in my house... if I owned a house instead of renting a room within one I have to make do with TP, how plebian.

Least...I used to rush getting to a lunchtime meeting, and often get there late. I would apologize, of course; but, one of the Oldtimers, Big John, told me, "Half a meeting is better than none." So, I guess one meeting a week is better than none at all.

I do believe your recovery could be enhanced by making a couple more meetings a week...maybe a couple of discussion meetings and a speaker meeting. Is there any reason why you seem to be resistant to making more than the group meeting? Or was it just that you resented the way they sort of dismissed the fact that you have achieved more than two months of sobriety with attending the one meeting a week?

Don't let them get to you.

Ananda...I think I'm getting it! You hate your house!!!

BF...I hope you got some sleep...being sleep-deprived sucks!!!

yep hate it...use to be a good housekeeper, but over the years it turned to trash..I never liked the house....been sober a year and still struggling...trying to work through it, but am thinking that there is so much resentment and anger tied up in this place that a fresh start might help......I know it is frowned upon, but sometimes a geoghraphical cure at a certain time in the process is helpful

And it's hard when everytime you clean you find something more fundementaly wrong with the structure

Thanks Jersy!

My daily complaint is that I think this is the last time of the season i'll get to wear my birks. The air here in Canuckleville is starting to feel a bit chilly.

Now, if it's three in the morning, I don't say "hi" to anyone!
What the heck are you doing out at three in the morning, Bam!?!

Nothing at all is wrong with your current rate of success!!! Don't give those acting like haters any influence....ignore them. We have your back.
