Troubled times....

Dear All,
Well here I am again it has been a while. I first joined in november last year and went 7 months without drinking a drop. But for some reason ( no idea why) I thought I could drink like the next "Normal" person!! Big mistake. Well I have had some pretty bad times since then. I have even given AA a shot, but I`m really not happy with this power greater than me thing, I just don`t get it. So I have reverted back to you guys and gals. I mean I went 7 months before. I know I can do this but I am going to need help from any corner that I can get it. So here begins day one again. My thoughts are not all my own I, they also go out to other suffering addicts.
Take care all
Chris

Chris, I'm started up again too. I'm happy to hear that you had so much luck in the past on here. It encourages me. Best of luck.

Lovebeams to you.

Chris, guess it never occurred to you that AA could be the "power greater" than yourself.

I know I can do this but I am going to need help from any corner that I can get it.
It's great that you've come back to Sober Recovery; but, why not take advantage of AA meetings, too? Just try not to over-think the "power greater than".
