Good. If you feel worse tonight, you can call your local hospital ER. It might take some waiting to be seen these days. Your doctor can best advise you. I took a cab to the ER after talking to them about my condition but that was 22 years ago. I got excellent care and everyone was very kind to me.
You'll be in my thoughts. Please let us know how it goes. Inpatient treatment was best for me as I was able to focus on getting well and not worrying about fixing meals and household chores. Plus, someone was always there for me while I had questions, worries, anxieties. I got meds that really helped me settle down. And made friendships with new people, a few I'm still in contact with after all this time!

Wanting to quit more than anything is the key to success. I have that same determination I had when I quit before, but I know this time it is forever. I am sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.

Starlite - not to sound harsh yet it might, you've been asking several times what to do and that you're clueless yet, all the posts back to you have told you exactly what to do yet.....you keep asking. You're either giving us or yourself lipservice :chatter or you're not serious.
Just pick up the phone and either call the doc or call rehab.
It's that simple!

scorpiogirl: please cut her some slack. Some of us need the reassurance and the repeats to get help. Being told something once isn't always enough. Hence the reason for this forum. We have all read a variation of the same threads numerous times...hell, I've written the same threads over and over, basically saying the same things...but am damn grateful that people took the time to keep answering.

If you can't get into the doctor for awhile, please call rehab facilities - they will be able to help you. Just look in the phone book or online for any kind of alcohol dependency rehab facility you can find. Call them and someone will direct you to the right place for you. Or go to the ER. The most important thing you can do is being an advocate for your own health. Thank god for your health insurance!!! Utilize it! Thinking of you today....you CAN DO THIS!!!!!

This is your life we're talking about; not a dress rehearsal. Do yourself a favor and just pick up the phone - or have a friend/relative be there with you when you make the phone call for support or rehab.This isn't something that should be delayed - especially since you're drinking 24/7. This disease is just waiting

i hope you didnt get afraid 2 call.sometimes the disease can control you.make you ashamed literaly hold you hostage 4 yrs &yrs.i dont want 2 see you throw half your life away b4 u make steps 2 regain youre power.you maybe powerless now but if you make the first step the second and third will giveyou back the sanity to control your destiny.you have the power ..tell the nurse you need help stoping drinking(thats not what willing drunks say)so dont b embarresed .be proud that you made the right choice to take you power back..im praying 4 you.:praying
