60 days and under
60 days and under
I looked back as far as page 13 but couldn't find the 60 days and under thread so started a new one. So come on all you sober-for-sixty-days-and-under folks!! I'll start off the posting.
Today is my 53rd day sober!!:bounce I am so delighted that I'm finally getting this sober living down pat! And if a chronic relapser like me can get this far, so can anyone!

Hey, least...53 days would be like a decade for me...so I'm happy for you! I'm at (I have to check...[checking]...) 39 days at the end of today. This may very well be the longest I've gone ever since I've had a problem. Keeping my fingers crossed as always.

Hey Mr Obi, I used to think I'd never get this far, but here I am. I just take it one day at a time, and constantly remind myself where I came from and that I do'nt ever want to go back there. You can make it that far too. Really, I considered myself a hopeless alcoholic. Yet here I am, after 53, now 54 sober days!
I want to bump this thread but I don't like counting my days like I'm on death row. I know it helps others but for me the need comes and goes. It's always another fresh start. A new decision not to drink just for today. Happy Friday to you all!

When anyone adds a reply to a thread
it goes to the top of the Discussion Forum
thus "bumped"
As Newcomers is always so busy...
it won't stay on top for long.
Congratulations to everyone for moving forward

When it comes to counting sober days, some like to count, some don't. I like to count because for me it makes me stronger to know how far I've come from my drinking life. I'm a bit OCD too and like to keep track of stuff and be organized.
I"m just so happy that tomorrow I'll have 8 wks sober! That seemed like an unobtainable goal to me earlier this year, when I kept quitting and then relapsing. With every sober day I am stronger and more determined to stay sober.
Hope everyone has a sober and wonderful weekend!

Now that I'm too 'old' for the two weeks and under thread... Two weeks today! (today is day fifteen) It's good to find this thread here. I like to count days, too, at least for now. It's just about my only real accomplishment lately. But I also take it one day at a time. All I really have to do today is not take a drink today. Or smoke any marijuana, but thank God I've had no craving or felt any loss over that. And I have to go to work, so I'd better get off this computer and suit up and get out of here.
Hooray for Sober People!!!!

Way to go, everyone! The sober days are adding up!! Makes me feel good to see the sober time of my friends here adding up. And those who fall, get right back up again. Just like I kept doing until I got it right.
love you all:ghug
