The progressive is definitely scary. I ended up doing all the things I thought I'd never allow myself to do (drink alone, drink before noon, drink a whole bottle of wine, etc.). I found out that the hangovers (+depression and anxiety) were progressive, too. Once I started thinking my health was the next thing to go, I just knew I couldn't keep on drinking.

I used to be one of those people that just eyed the vodka bottles, knowing they'd be the end of me and then one day I decided I didn't give a rip. Don't make the same mistakes I did, I wasted a good 2 years of my life, and I got off relatively easy compared to some!
